A lovely little note from a past bride whose flowers are actually my timeline photo. She was married in the Jewel Box during a tornado warning! She was cool as a cucumber. She’s laughing in the attached photo because the sirens had just started, as she and her father were about to walk!

We all survived and the sun came out after- that made for some very pretty pictures! Her wedding was one of the best that I’ve planned and designed. Really beautiful and such a fun family to work with.

The USGBC-Missouri Gateway Chapter celebrated and recognized individuals, groups and organizations actively transforming the built environment while sharing their knowledge of green building and sustainable practices. — at Palladium Saint Louis.

This was Lucky You Productions four year coordinating the event.  We greened the party by recycling, composting, use Eco-friendly products, using local beers, electronic invitations, and minimal printing.

Every wedding is unique in its own way; whether it’s personalized vows, special readings, or family traditions. I was lucky enough to attend the wedding of one of my family members where they made their ceremony personal and memorable in a variety of ways. The bride was born in Brazil and chose to say her vows in Portuguese and English. The location of the ceremony was the very same place where the groom’s parents had been married, over 25 years prior.

There are various ways in which a ceremony can be made to fit each couple’s personalities. Here is a list of some of the more popular ways to personalize your ceremony.

1. Write your own vows.
2. Have one of your poems read during the ceremony.
3. Mention a memory you have shared with your partner during your vows.
4. Have your favorite song play as you and your partner exit the ceremony site.
5. Incorporate a part of your ethnic heritage. Ex: Jumping over a broom, or breaking a glass mirror.

Lucky You coordinated Wall Ball for the Saint Louis Open Studio and Gallery. This was our 8 year with the event and we had a blast work with Lori and Nick! The event featured more than 30 local artists creating live art! Wall Ball was a complete success, breaking fundraising and attendance records.  Here’s what our wonderful friends/clients at SCOSaG had to say!  (See images below.)
