Ceremony Coordination (Typically starts at $400)
This package is ideal for the couple that has the reception planned to a tee but needs someone (we actually bring a team of three) to coordinate their ceremony. Here’s what Lucky You can provide:
- Initial meeting, getting to know you and understanding your wedding vision
- One to two planning meetings to work out all the details (via phone or at our office)
- We like to meet about two months prior to the wedding date
- Personally designed timeline and production schedule planning each step of the wedding
- Run and coordinate your wedding rehearsal
- Provide schedules for your wedding party and families, officiant, ceremony musicians and any vendors involved in the ceremony
- Organize family and wedding party for the processional, ceremony and recessional
- Review your seating plan, processional and recessional with the ushers
- Prepare and place reserved cards on seats for your families and important guests
- Place guest book, unity candle, programs and anything particular to your ceremony and gather all items for transport to the reception after the ceremony
- Tell your ceremony musicians when to start and stop music throughout the ceremony (we use walkie-talkies for this) to ensure a smooth transition and eliminate awkward pauses
- Assist late arriving guests to their seats to deter embarrassing interruptions
- Assist photographer in gathering family and wedding party for ceremony photos
- Assist/coordinate any after-ceremony events: walks, receiving lines, etc…
