Reception Coordination (Typically starts at $500)
This package is ideal for the couple that has the ceremony under control, but is hosting a reception at a venue that doesn’t offer an on-site coordinator. This is also great for couples who are having their reception in a non-traditional location such as a parent’s home or in the great outdoors, like in a park. Here’s what Lucky You can provide:
- Initial meeting, getting to know you and understanding your wedding vision.
- One to two planning meetings to work out all the details (via phone or at our office).
- We like to meet about two months prior to the wedding date
- Personally designed timeline and production schedule planning each step of the reception
- Confirm with all wedding vendors the week of the wedding, making necessary updates, scheduling arrival and delivery times, as well as break down and/or pick-up times, giving directions, guarantees and special meal needs, floor plans, etc…
- Send all reception vendors detailed schedules.
- Outline your seating chart and identify VIP tables with your caterer
- Set up place card table, memory table, guest book or any other miscellaneous items.
- Table and room décor set up is additional and would need to be discussed.
- Direct your reception, according to pre-approved production schedule, working with facility manager and staff, any catering staff, entertainment, photographer, etc…
Prepare you and your wedding party for the entrance: have vases ready for bouquets, drinks on the table, etc…. - Keep an close eye on not only you, but also your parents
- Deliver tip envelopes to remaining vendors
- Assemble any items for family to take home: the top layer of the cake, your bouquet, guest book, gifts, left over favors, cake knife, etc… Deliver gifts to the appropriate car
